Design, manufacture and erection of a 140 m². two storey steel framed extension to an existing warehouse unit to form a first floor office area with reception and car parking at ground floor.

Design, manufacture and erection of a 223 m². mezzanine floor in the existing warehouse with spiral staircase from reception and full office fit – out and partitioning to the new 360 m². first floor office area.
Design, manufacture and erection of a 328 m². Mezzanine storage floor complete with staircases and pallet loading gate in an adjacent unit.
Services Supplied By McCanns: Planning, building regulation application, full CDM management of site, full design & build of all aspects of the contract including groundworks steel frame, cladding, block/brickwork, doors & windows, spiral and straight flight staircases and additional mezzanine storage floor.
Total project valuation: £435,000.00
The warehouse to be extended was a concrete portal framed building which was out of square and out of level (poorly erected). The extension had to provide a high quality head office environment for BCE and the entire project was carried out on time and within budget on a busy working site.
